Ordered as U70268, this is an AS568-268 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 8.484 in (215.49 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.762 in (222.55 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is widely chosen for outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure and toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds. The material holds up against abrasion and wear, impact and shock loading, and ozone. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C).
