568-268 URETHANE 90 ORINGS -PREM GRADE

U90268 is an AS568-268 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 8.484 in (215.49 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.762 in (222.55 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The material holds up against ozone, impact and shock loading, and extrusion under high pressure. Polyurethane (AU/EU) is widely chosen for exceptional abrasion resistance, very high tensile strength and load capacity. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). Exposure to ketones or acids and bases will shorten service life.
