568-269 URETHANE 90 ORINGS -PREM GRADE

APG stocks the U90269, an AS568-269 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 8.734 in (221.84 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.012 in (228.9 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified here for exceptional abrasion resistance and outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure. Expect good resistance to impact and shock loading, abrasion and wear, and petroleum oils. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or acids and bases call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in off-highway equipment, mining and heavy equipment, and high-pressure fluid power.
