568-270 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

APG stocks the HSN90270, an AS568-270 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 8.984 in (228.19 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.262 in (235.25 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for excellent abrasion and tear strength, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. This material stands up to modern refrigerants, petroleum oils and fuels, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in strong oxidizing acids or ketones.

Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across engine timing systems, oilfield and downhole equipment, and commercial refrigeration.
