568-271 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

U70271 is an AS568-271 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 9.234 in (234.54 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.512 in (241.6 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

It resists ozone, petroleum oils, and impact and shock loading. Polyurethane (AU/EU) is widely chosen for very high tensile strength and load capacity, toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C) in continuous service. Applications involving hot water and steam or prolonged humidity at elevated temperature call for a different compound.
