SV70274 is an AS568-274 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 9.984 in (253.59 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.262 in (260.65 mm). In service, this quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

The material holds up against chlorinated solvents, aggressive chemicals, and engine and transmission fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) offers the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Applications involving amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids call for a different compound.
