Ordered as SV70275, this is an AS568-275 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 10.484 in (266.29 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.762 in (273.35 mm). The quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

Expect good resistance to engine and transmission fluids, aggressive chemicals, and many acids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is specified for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and outstanding high-temperature capability. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
