This o-ring is supplied in AS568-275 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A with an inside diameter of 10.484 in (266.29 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.762 in (273.35 mm), catalogued under part number HS70275. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. This material stands up to modern refrigerants, ozone and weathering, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in chlorinated hydrocarbons or ketones.

It sees regular use in commercial refrigeration, oilfield and downhole equipment, and automotive air conditioning.
