It provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, chlorinated solvents, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Viton® (FKM) is known for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit.
