U70278 is an AS568-278 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 11.984 in (304.39 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 12.262 in (311.45 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

It resists extrusion under high pressure, ozone, and petroleum oils. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Polyurethane (AU/EU) is widely chosen for toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds and exceptional abrasion resistance. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 200°F (93.3°C).
