Ordered as U70279, this is an AS568-279 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 12.984 in (329.79 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 13.262 in (336.85 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Polyurethane (AU/EU) is widely chosen for exceptional abrasion resistance and toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds. This material stands up to abrasion and wear, impact and shock loading, and ozone. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C).
