568-279 URETHANE 90 ORINGS -PREM GRADE

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-279 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A with an inside diameter of 12.984 in (329.79 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 13.262 in (336.85 mm), catalogued under part number U90279. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

It resists petroleum oils, ozone, and impact and shock loading. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Polyurethane (AU/EU) is known for toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds and long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where acids and bases or hot water and steam are present.

Typical settings include mining and heavy equipment, off-highway equipment, and hydraulic cylinders.
