The A80280 is an AS568-280 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 13.984 in (355.19 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 14.262 in (362.25 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Aflas (TFE/P) is specified here for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression and exceptional resistance to amine-based additives. This material stands up to strong bases, hot water, and high-temperature steam. Rated temperature range runs from -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in low-temperature dynamic service or some chlorinated solvents.

Typical settings include downhole tooling, power generation, and geothermal equipment.
