568-280 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-280 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A with an inside diameter of 13.984 in (355.19 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 14.262 in (362.25 mm), catalogued under part number HS70280. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

It resists modern refrigerants, petroleum oils and fuels, and ozone and weathering. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is known for the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in strong oxidizing acids or ketones.
