568-280 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

The U70280 is an AS568-280 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 13.984 in (355.19 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 14.262 in (362.25 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified here for long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service, very high tensile strength and load capacity. The compound resists extrusion under high pressure, abrasion and wear, and impact and shock loading. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 200°F (93.3°C). Applications involving ketones or prolonged humidity at elevated temperature call for a different compound.
