568-280 URETHANE 90 ORINGS -PREM GRADE

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-280 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 13.984 in (355.19 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 14.262 in (362.25 mm), catalogued under part number U90280. It delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) delivers very high tensile strength and load capacity, outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure. Expect good resistance to abrasion and wear, impact and shock loading, and extrusion under high pressure. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C) in continuous service. Applications involving ketones or prolonged humidity at elevated temperature call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in hydraulic cylinders, press and forming equipment, and off-highway equipment.
