568-281 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

APG stocks the TES70281, an AS568-281 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 14.984 in (380.59 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 15.262 in (387.65 mm). This material stands up to wide temperature swings, steam, and nearly all process chemicals. PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is known for strong resistance to permeation and a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges will shorten service life.

Typical settings include cryogenic and high-temperature equipment, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and food and beverage processing.
