568-282 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

The HS70282 is an AS568-282 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 15.955 in (405.26 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 16.233 in (412.32 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

This material stands up to modern refrigerants, petroleum oils and fuels, and ozone and weathering. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is widely chosen for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, excellent abrasion and tear strength. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to ketones or strong oxidizing acids will shorten service life.
