568-282 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

HSN90282 is an AS568-282 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 15.955 in (405.26 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 16.233 in (412.32 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

It resists ozone and weathering, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and heat and oxidation. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) delivers excellent abrasion and tear strength, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C).

It sees regular use in automotive air conditioning, oilfield and downhole equipment, and heavy-duty powertrain.
