E80PC283 is an AS568-283 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 16.955 in (430.66 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 17.233 in (437.72 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, good electrical insulating characteristics. The compound resists dilute acids and alkalis, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, and ozone, UV and weathering. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C).
