APG stocks the HSN90283, an AS568-283 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 16.955 in (430.66 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 17.233 in (437.72 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The compound resists heat and oxidation, ozone and weathering, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to strong oxidizing acids or esters will shorten service life.
