-284 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

A80284 is an AS568-284 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 17.955 in (456.06 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 18.233 in (463.12 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The material holds up against sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, amines and corrosion inhibitors, and hot water. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Aflas (TFE/P) is valued for proven performance in aggressive downhole environments and strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. The material carries a published service range of -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to aromatic hydrocarbons or low-temperature dynamic service will shorten service life.
