568-284 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

HSN90284 is an AS568-284 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 17.955 in (456.06 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 18.233 in (463.12 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. The compound resists sour gas and amine inhibitors, modern refrigerants, and petroleum oils and fuels. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Applications involving chlorinated hydrocarbons or ketones call for a different compound.

Typical settings include automotive air conditioning, oilfield and downhole equipment, and commercial refrigeration.
