Ordered as A80309, this is an AS568-309 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.412 in (10.46 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.832 in (21.13 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

This material stands up to brake fluids and phosphate esters, sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, and amines and corrosion inhibitors. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Aflas (TFE/P) delivers exceptional resistance to amine-based additives and excellent electrical insulating properties. Service temperature is rated from -25°F (-31.7°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in some chlorinated solvents or low-temperature dynamic service.
