-309 BROWN FKM 90D O-RING

Ordered as VB90309, this is an AS568-309 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.412 in (10.46 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.832 in (21.13 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) delivers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The compound resists chlorinated solvents, many acids, and aggressive chemicals. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids.
