-309 BLACK EPDM 80D O-RING

Ordered as E80PC309, this is an AS568-309 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.412 in (10.46 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.832 in (21.13 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for good electrical insulating characteristics and very good flexibility at low temperature. Expect good resistance to phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, water and steam, and brake fluid. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where petroleum oils and fuels or mineral oil-based lubricants are present.

It sees regular use in solar and roofing assemblies, brake and phosphate ester systems, and water and steam systems.
