568-309 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

HSN90309 is an AS568-309 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.412 in (10.46 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.832 in (21.13 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers strong resistance to rapid gas decompression, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. Expect good resistance to heat and oxidation, ozone and weathering, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in strong oxidizing acids or ketones.

Common environments for this compound include commercial refrigeration, automotive air conditioning, and engine timing systems.
