568-309 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

The U70309 is an AS568-309 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.412 in (10.46 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.832 in (21.13 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against ozone, impact and shock loading, and abrasion and wear. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified for exceptional abrasion resistance, very high tensile strength and load capacity. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or prolonged humidity at elevated temperature call for a different compound.
