Ordered as VB90310, this is an AS568-310 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.475 in (12.07 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.895 in (22.73 mm). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is specified for outstanding high-temperature capability and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, chlorinated solvents, and engine and transmission fluids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to ketones and esters or amines will shorten service life.
