Ordered as SH70310, this is an AS568-310 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.475 in (12.07 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.895 in (22.73 mm). The quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Expect good resistance to petroleum-based oils, propane and butane, and greases and lubricants. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer.
