-311 BLACK CHEMOURS VITON 75D O-RING

The VITON75311 is an AS568-311 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.537 in (13.64 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.957 in (24.31 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

It resists many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam call for a different compound.
