APG stocks the E80PC311, an AS568-311 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.537 in (13.64 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.957 in (24.31 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for very good flexibility at low temperature, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. Expect good resistance to phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, ozone, UV and weathering, and water and steam. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in outdoor equipment, solar and roofing assemblies, and brake and phosphate ester systems.
