568-312 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

APG stocks the U70312, an AS568-312 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.6 in (15.24 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.02 in (25.91 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) offers exceptional abrasion resistance, very high tensile strength and load capacity. This material stands up to extrusion under high pressure, abrasion and wear, and impact and shock loading. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). Applications involving prolonged humidity at elevated temperature or ketones call for a different compound.

Typical settings include mining and heavy equipment, hydraulic cylinders, and press and forming equipment.
