An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is known for exceptional abrasion resistance and outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure. Expect good resistance to abrasion and wear, petroleum oils, and extrusion under high pressure. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C).
