568-316 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

TES70316 is an AS568-316 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.85 in (21.59 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.27 in (32.26 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware. The catalog record notes: ORING 70 Durometer.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone offers excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling and a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface. Expect good resistance to wide temperature swings, strong acids and solvents, and steam. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges are present.
