568-316 FKM 75 SQUARE CUT RINGS

This quad-ring is supplied in AS568-316 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile supplied with an inside diameter of 0.85 in (21.59 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.27 in (32.26 mm), catalogued under part number SV70316. It uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. It resists petroleum oils and fuels, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in amines or ketones and esters.

It sees regular use in automotive fuel systems, oil and gas, and aerospace.

Stocked as SV70316 and sold individually. Nominal inside diameter is listed as 7/8 inch. Confirm chemical compatibility, pressure and temperature against your own application requirements before installing.
