APG stocks the SV70317, an AS568-317 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.912 in (23.16 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.332 in (33.83 mm). A quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is specified for outstanding high-temperature capability and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. It resists engine and transmission fluids, chlorinated solvents, and aggressive chemicals. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to ketones and esters or hot water and steam will shorten service life.
