This o-ring is supplied in AS568-318 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 0.975 in (24.77 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.395 in (35.43 mm), catalogued under part number TES70318. PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone delivers excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling and strong resistance to permeation. Expect good resistance to nearly all process chemicals, strong acids and solvents, and wide temperature swings. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing call for a different compound.
