568-318 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

APG stocks the HS70318, an AS568-318 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.975 in (24.77 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.395 in (35.43 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. The compound resists ozone and weathering, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and modern refrigerants. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. Applications involving strong oxidizing acids or chlorinated hydrocarbons call for a different compound.

Typical settings include heavy-duty powertrain, oilfield and downhole equipment, and engine timing systems.
