568-319 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-319 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A with an inside diameter of 1.037 in (26.34 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.457 in (37.01 mm), catalogued under part number TES70319. It resists strong acids and solvents, steam, and wide temperature swings. PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified for excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling and strong resistance to permeation. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges call for a different compound.
