568-320 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-320 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A with an inside diameter of 1.1 in (27.94 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.52 in (38.61 mm), catalogued under part number TES70320. PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified here for chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone and non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface. It resists wide temperature swings, steam, and strong acids and solvents. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges are present.
