Ordered as E80PC321, this is an AS568-321 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.162 in (29.51 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.582 in (40.18 mm). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, very good flexibility at low temperature. This material stands up to ozone, UV and weathering, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, and water and steam. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to petroleum oils and fuels or mineral oil-based lubricants will shorten service life.
