Ordered as H50322, this is an AS568-322 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.225 in (31.12 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.645 in (41.78 mm). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

This material stands up to many alcohols, petroleum-based oils, and greases and lubricants. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, low compression set under sustained load. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where automotive brake fluid or strong acids are present.
