APG stocks the E80PC323, an AS568-323 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.287 in (32.69 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.707 in (43.36 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. The compound resists brake fluid, water and steam, and ozone, UV and weathering. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum oils and fuels.

It sees regular use in outdoor equipment, potable water applications, and solar and roofing assemblies.
