568-324 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

HSN90324 is an AS568-324 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.35 in (34.29 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.77 in (44.96 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is widely chosen for the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. The material holds up against modern refrigerants, petroleum oils and fuels, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to ketones or chlorinated hydrocarbons will shorten service life.

Common environments for this compound include engine timing systems, automotive air conditioning, and commercial refrigeration.
