The SV70327 is an AS568-327 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.725 in (43.82 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.145 in (54.48 mm). This quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) delivers outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and chlorinated solvents. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving amines or ketones and esters call for a different compound.

Typical settings include chemical processing, aerospace, and automotive fuel systems.
