Ordered as SV70331, this is an AS568-331 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.225 in (56.52 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.645 in (67.18 mm). The quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Expect good resistance to engine and transmission fluids, petroleum oils and fuels, and aggressive chemicals. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in amines or ketones and esters.
