568-334 FKM 75 SQUARE CUT RINGS

This quad-ring is supplied in AS568-334 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile measuring an inside diameter of 2.6 in (66.04 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.02 in (76.71 mm), catalogued under part number SV70334. It uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. It resists engine and transmission fluids, aggressive chemicals, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam call for a different compound.
