Ordered as VITON75340, this is an AS568-340 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 3.35 in (85.09 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.77 in (95.76 mm). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, many acids, and engine and transmission fluids. Viton® (FKM) is specified for outstanding high-temperature capability and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids are present.
