This o-ring is supplied in AS568-340 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A with an inside diameter of 3.35 in (85.09 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.77 in (95.76 mm), catalogued under part number U70340. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Polyurethane (AU/EU) is valued for exceptional abrasion resistance, very high tensile strength and load capacity. The compound resists petroleum oils, abrasion and wear, and extrusion under high pressure. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or ketones call for a different compound.
